I woke up this morning, slept through my alarm
Tried taking a shower, the hot water was gone
Had to make the bus, gotta make it in time
Didn't get out the door, 'till seven o nine
Running to the bus, had to make a stop
Fell into the mud, hit the ground with a PLOP!
I got to the bus, I was 20 minutes late
That's when I knew this day wouldn't be great

First period class, I had to take a test
Didn't know the questions, I had to just guess
I tried very hard, but I knew that I failed
Racked my brain for the answers but to no avail
Handed in the test, I got most questions wrong
When I got the test back, all my hope was gone
Staring right at me, was a grade of 65
That's when I really knew this wasn't my time

The rest of the day, was an even bigger test
Tried writing an essay, it ended up a mess
Then in gym class, I fell pretty hard

Lunch was tough, I left it at home

Because this day, was not really neat
